Yaron never aspired to be an actor, but a surprise offer is about to change his life completely. While waiting for a friend, who is auditioning for the lead role in "Romeo and Juliet", he meets Leah, the beautiful director of the play. Convinced that he is her "Romeo", she offers him the part there and then, unaware of the tragic fate that lies ahead.
Confused by Leah's adamant conviction though smitten by her, Yaron confides in his doting mother, who, to his great surprise, tries to dissuade him from taking the part. Despite her fierce objection, Yaron decides to accept Leah's offer, ignorant of the heartbreaking reason behind his mother's protest.
Leah is also besotted by Yaron, although she is happily married. Or so she believes. Her stable and secure life is shattered to pieces when she discovers that her adoring husband has been cheating on her for years with none other than her sister. Yaron and Leah finally surrender to their feelings and Leah soon finds out that she is carrying Yaron's child. However, devastation shortly follows when Leah learns the truth behind Yaron's mother hostility towards her: Leah is the daughter of Shaul, the father Yaron never knew existed.
Will these modern-day Romeo and Juliet find a tragic end or will they find happiness?
