C21 Media - Dori seals deals for Amanda O - February 3rd, 2009

Israeli telenovela specialist Dori Media Group's first cross-platform novela, Amanda O, has been sold into eight countries. Following its launch on Dori's dedicated telenovela site Novebox.com, Amanda O has been picked up in Romania, Argentina, Azerbaijan, Georgia, Moldova, Paraguay, Uruguay and Armenia.

Amanda O launched in November 2008. Audiences in Uruguay and Paraguay are now able to view the series on TV and also on their mobile phones. In Romania and Moldova, Amanda O will be available on three platforms: TV, the internet and mobile.

Jose Escalante, president and general manager of Dori Media Distribution, said: "Amanda O is a unique product in the telenovela genre because it allows fans to view the series simultaneously across three different platforms.

"The show's comical storyline draws universal appeal and a very wide audience. We are in the process of negotiating many other deals for Amanda O and the show is going to become available to more viewers worldwide."
