Globes - Dori Media to supply new HOT action channel - June 29th, 2008

Telenovela producer and distributor Dori Media Group Ltd. is tightening its collaboration with Hot Cables Systems Media Ltd. Dori Media subsidiary Dori Media Spike Ltd. will provide HOT with a new action channel, after HOT ended its agreement with AXN, which will no longer be aired after November. Sources inform ''Globes'' that HOT subscribers are complaining about the measure and that they are organizing an Internet protest.

HOT denied the report, claiming that it "baseless".

Nevertheless, today HOT tried to reassure its subscribers, saying that it will broadcast a new action channel, "Hot Xtra Action", which Dori Media will provide. The new channel will begin broadcasting in November, and will cost HOT much less than AXN.

AXN is one of HOT's most viewed niche channels, and is always included in the list of most-viewed channels.

Dori Media closed at ₤1.125 on Friday, giving a market cap of ₤26 million.
