Michaela is a cold and calculated woman, who marries Guy, a brilliant computer whiz, in order to get her hands on the fortune Guy stands to earn thanks to a program he developed. Michaela is actually in love with Guy's best friend Ra'anan, and together they scheme against him. However, Michaela soon realizes that Guy will not earn the money expected and decides to divorce him.
Fate intervenes when a car accident leaves Michaela in a comatose state before the divorce is finalized. Several months later, while Michaela is still incapacitated in the hospital, Ra'anan realizes that Guy is indeed on the verge of earning millions.
